Daily Images thread takes very long time to load, even on broadband. Its flooded.
Can we agree to limit image sizes a little bit, I mean: Whats the point of posting 1100 point images when they are scaled to 512 anyways?

1100, that would be me. Sorry, but since they're hotlinked it's either that size or none. And I chose a generous size on purpose. I have a very streamlined "workflow", making or even maintaining separate versions is not an option, whenever I slightly update an image it changes wherever I hotlinked it on the web. It's that way not just because it's comfortable, but also because I tend to first adjust them roughly and tweak colors etc. again later on whenever I feel a picture could use more tweaking.
You could move 'em to a separate thread if it's a problem. Yeah, I was thinking about generating medium sized preview images before, but I didn't get around to do it and I never might.

By the sheer volume of nice pictures you post, Sniser, you could advandtageously create your own thematic threads

thematic threads

Okay, I really think if there was a thread called "animals" that would make the daily images thing a loooot lighter in respect to the images I posted. So split that topic, or temporarily make me moderator and I'll do it, and in any case I'll gladly make more threads in the future hehe, good call. I love arranging stuff and giving it a title
